Biography
Wendy
Deane the Artist
Studying under the late Oscar Sormani,
master artist of traditional landscapes, I began my journey into the world
of art. My love of painting began at this
time in the late 1970’s.
As a young mother of four sons there soon
was little time left for painting. In more
recent years, with the encouragement of close friends and family, I have
returned to painting. My departure from traditional
landscapes to contemporary and abstract works is a reflection of my own
personal style, which has evolved through the years.
I am a native of Omaha, Nebraska and currently live nearby
on a peaceful lake just outside the village of Valley, Nebraska.
My now grown children and their families inspire and encourage
my work, which is a wonderful reward in itself.
I hope you enjoy my art work as much as I have enjoyed creating
it.
